Its been a while since I went over the instructions for it in the manual, but I don’t think anything fundamental was missing from the manual in this regard.

with the db plugin afair all groups are by default security groups. This means you can just assign acls to if (for example through webapp).

@BMWfan no amavis is not in use and sa_group is uncommented in spamd.cfg. only rspamd is installed

I created an override for the systemd unit file and set the environment variable:

Halfway there. Now the folder is displayed like this:

Yes, you’re starting inotify-spamlearn with python3.6 but I was talking about spamd.

Updating the packages to a new release ( todays build )
Did run apt-get dist-upgrade
resulted in :
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
kopano-search : Depends: python3-kopano-search (= 8.7.80.465.4206adbb5-0+56.1) but it is not installed or

E: Unmet dependencies. Try ‘apt --fix-broken install’ with no packages (or specify a solution).

Now run : apt --fix-broken install

Now the email-rules are working too …

Afaik this should be resolved for “our” packages, but the packages from opensuse are not built by Kopano itself. If you have an account for build.opensuse.org you can open a request for change at https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/server:mail:kopano

the docker images that you have previously played with have matured quite a bit. running it with our nightly builds works out of the box, when running this with 8.6 some config changes are probably required in the compose file (alternatively you could go for our pre-final repo which should not require any config changes)
