never mind. it seems that my mysql database was corrupted after I changed innodb logfiles path… it statrted to become worse and worse and today I was not even able to read from some boxes. So I ended up with new installation, seems working fine now, but I decided to go with kopano-core package provided by debian 10 buster for easier update procedures in the future.

yes, you can remove the 2 older versions.
This is one you always need to watch out for.

@drauer said in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS:

t does not make much of a difference

Not?? … i dont like Ubuntu and it “phone home”… act like microsoft and harvest your data policy.
and “snap” install garbage… besides that, Ubuntu, the default install is just way slower then Debian…
How often i tried ubuntu and reverse back to debian… in last 22 years… to often…

now, im not saying Ubuntu is bad, its not that… but for my servers all my server tested in Ubuntu or debian, i get at least 10% more performance with debian.

      My 2 cents.

@scheini72 yeah, i seen that… but thats not what i asked… but thanks anyway for the reply offcouse.
i asked if the “Debian 11 (development packages)” will come online.

Why i asked for the dev packages…
The basic licence, is 15 euro, but its a minimal of 10 users… and i only need 1 or 2.
so why would i pay 10x 15 eur if i currently only have 1 user on my kopano.
its just a numbers thing… a “microsoft 365 outlook” licence, is i believe only 4 euro per user…
Still i preffer Kopano over microsoft

      It is still being tested…

But it definitely makes a difference if Kopano has always and exclusively been installed from the Univention repositories or if Kopano was also updated from the Kopano repositories under UCS 4.4.

When upgrading to UCS 5.0, Kopano core, Kopano webapp, z-Push and univention-appcenter-docker are removed. Kopano can then “mostly” also no longer be installed via the UMC. Only after “apt-get install univention-appcenter-docker” has been executed, the Kopano and Z-Push apps can be installed again.

After that everything should run and work again.

Would be great if someone could test this.
