apologies, I thought you were referring only to the display.
For the memory used, the easiest is perhaps to launch it on a machine and see how much memory it actually uses and then work out the specifications of the hardware you need.
if you change the view to “Reading area below” you an sort by categories:
b4becf64-857c-401f-93f7-98a8b575abc8-grafik.png
You can also use the search to display the categories.
Enter * in the search

and then select the desired categories in the detail selection (left).
… a false registry key was the problem:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts.eml\UserChoice
-> ProgId = Kopano DeskApp.File.eml
(I hat to delete the value and exchange it…)
in Kopano DeskApp/WebApp I can click on CONTACTS and I see all the contacts of the shared account I attached. But when I click on “New E-Mail” and then click onto the button [TO:] and choose the shared address book I only get 5 names displayed of 250 contacts. Why aren’t the contacts displayed although the shared address book is shown in the dropdown pane?
did I miss anything? any help appreciated. Thank you.
many thanks for your response. Is it planned to release folders like “Sent Items” in the near future? There is the possibility to give another user the rights “send as”. Now this user can not access the “sent items” if I do not give him full access to my mailbox.
I don’t have paid subscription to support. And i don’t wait that somebody will fix it immediately for me.
But i’d like to know, that kopano Deskapp maintainers now know about this existing problem with sql-lite DB.
sorry I cannot say anything about this, since I am not that deep in the webapp stack. If you are depending on quick answers i can only recommend to get in direct contact with our support.
thank you for kind reply unfortunately this script isn’t what we’re looking for. The user/employee should make the decision of this action, not the administrator.
However thank you. sad to hear this function is not implemented in DeskApp.
Hi,
same Problem here. Sometimes it asks for the download destination and sometimes not. I am not sure if it is a problem with the names of the attachments or the quantity.
One more suggestion: It would be nice if the download destination for “save as” actions would be the last download destination. At the moment it is always a fix path.

I’m afraid I can’t. These sent emails contain verification logs and documents and are copied into a file directory for a database. This in turn is what we need to charge for these verification logs.
In principle, your idea is a good one until there is a solution. If you save these emails once in kopano and once in the file directory. The secretaries will be very pleased in the negative sense.
