Hi Chris,
From Z-Push point of view having an appointment in an email folder is a bug because the devices are not able to handle it, so Z-Push prevents this from happening. Webapp / Deskapp are able to display such items, so from their point of view it’s a feature.
In Z-Push we could only add a log entry which you could monitor, but then still you would only be able to open it in Webapp or Deskapp.
In order to sync those emails to Outlook via Z-Push, the handling in dagent must be changed. There is a JIRA issue to follow this up: https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-1555.
@CMABSL said in eMails with ICS attachments:
Also strange for me, similar “calendar item” coming from outside and including attachment (from other Kopano server, from Outlook 365) are passing well to the Outlook 2016, surely they do not use ICS but something else so, is there any advice we can give to the external company FI…SS to deliver to us such appointment + document in a better way that those ICS files ?
I guess if they would sent the flight information as a pdf attachment or in the email body as plain text, it would work fine. That would not be so nice for the client which are able to parse the ics data though.
