as we speak I consider upgrading of course. Btw, I just inherited this mail setup the one who setup this mail has been gone. and also I already tried changing the password still wont work.
what am I gonne check on the server,cfg?

in the server.cfg you will find an option called
log_level
but its value to6
, then restart/reload thekopano-server
process. after that you should get debug logging in/var/log/zarafa/server.log
.Since this can be quite a lot of logging i would recommend to set the logging back afterwards.

hm… that does not really give much of a clue. Before diving down any further maybe just deleting and recreating the user will help (as others as indicated still continue to do so).
After you have created the new use you can use the hook-store functionality to give the new use the old store back. more at https://documentation.zarafa.com/zcp_administrator_manual/user_management.html#reattaching-stores-from-deleted-users

yes, the store guid has to be given without the <>.
