Thanks, that fixed the warning - wasn’t aware about the flags parameter.

Misleading error… I found out the upgrade changed the ownership of /var/log/z-push (I don’t use www-data) so it was crashing for that. I found it out by trying to open z-push in the browser.

Why is z-push throwing that error, if the problem is logfile?

@shock143 If you have the same problem then please verify that you’re not mixing Ubuntu / Debian packages and official packages provided by Kopano. So either everything from the distro-provided sources, or everything from Kopano / Z-Push. Mixing them leads to errors.

yes via /usr/share/z-push/tools/gab-sync/gab-sync.php -a sync and afterwards I synced the GAB in Outlook manually via the addin again. Still the old picture(s) in it.

I found in the ldap.propmap.cfg the following entry

Maybe the 4K limit is the issue. I have to check that.

That is normal for Activesync. Your device should normally then offer the option to search back further

Thank you. Unfortunately I was not able to post a longer log because of message size limits. I understand that this is caused by the mobile and not z-push. Will investigate more with other phones.

verify if the version number all match up.

I’m not a developer myself, so I can’t tell you any details. I know though that within the Kopano backend we are using shortened folder ids since Outlook as a client did have problems working with our full length ids. could be that this id hashing is in effect for all backends. Could that be what you are seeing?

Edit: as for “what logs to provide” a wbxml log of when the device was setup (to have the initial foldersync) and when the problem occurs is usually helpful.
