I think it doesn’t make much sense to ask for a free lunch, there are rumours, Kopano is about (or has already) retired from working for the Kopano open-source community.

I’m having comparable issues with Tasks and iOS16(.0.3), but couldn’t find nor fix the cause, yet.
There are a couple of unmatched WBXML tags logged, - not sure if this has any connection.

@diablo666 I would suggest you try adding the IP without the /32 on the end. I have simply whitelisted individual IP Addresses without any bitmask modifier and I never see this issue.

The other thing you might check is if you allow IPv6 connectivity. If so, the connection might have an IPv6 form that is not matching your filter rules. I have disabled IPv6 on my servers.

It is not optimal - you have to check, why the process is crashing.
Maybe PHP needs more memory or some bug is causing the process to stop unexpectedly.
Check your webserver logs too.
You may also try to reset the loop detection data with z-push-admin.php.

Random order… all have there pro’s and cons…
in all these 4 we use in the office.
sometimes loses connection of app hang… (fix is simple, close app and or reboot phone)

Small tip, if you use gmail, you must install calender and people (contacts) also from gmail to have your contacts and appointments synced.

When app’s hang its mostly due and update. *( and people not closing there apps on the phones).

I conclude you are using BackendKopano, looking at your other posts…?

I think, the Kopano backend should log something like “KopanoBackend->Logon(): login failed with error code: <errorcode>”. (LOGLEVEL_ERROR)
If you enable LOGLEVEL_DEBUG, you should see “KopanoBackend->Logon(): logon failed for user ‘<username>’”.

Take a look at the function Logon() in backend/kopano/kopano.php .

The default Android App is or was not able to differentiate between multiple addressbooks and the developer decided to merge all available addressbooks into one in the CardDAV backend.
New contacts are written to the primary addressbook (see config.php).

It should be possible to split those by checking the device type and act accordingly.
I did create a branch and started working on it a bit but never finished it.
If you are interested, I am willing to look at it again.
Since the Z-Push repository is not getting any attention from Kopano right now, I forked on GitHub (for now)…

Good to hear you got it done. Can you share on here what config you tried and what you changed? It would make it valuable info for others who runs in same situation.

After reading the git flow article you linked it makes sense to me. I see you indeed follow the flow as outlined by Vincent Driessen and the table is thus correct.

Without detailed knowledge of said workflow the Stages table could be a bit confusing though, imho. Looking back it was the coupling of the old-stable to the release/2.5 branch of GIT that pushed me in the wrong direction. Wouldn’t it be more accurate to couple the old-stable with the master/2.5.x tags? The release branches have limited life time after all and are destined to be removed after merging to master, according to the flow model.

thank you for your reply. I don’t think this is the same problem or the same component causing this problem. As you can see in my error logs that Z-Push is raising this error and not Apache/WebApp. In the linked jira ticket this error is related to WebApp.

As i already described i am facing synchronization issues with Z-Push and that’s the only error i can see so far, ignoring this error is not my prefered solution as you may understand.

Edit: Apart from that i am using WebApp 6.0.

technically its read once at startup, but a php application starts up when someone opens it in a webbrowser. So no need to restart e.g. your webserver or your php daemon.

Just to clarify, the original issue was that the Zimbra backend (I think) uses folder ids of the type ‘fxn’ and ‘FLxn-xn’ where x is an integer and n is some number of integers.

During my troubleshooting, I was attempting to use the UUID which obviously did not work.
