Yeah, windows fun… Thats a good tip by the way in general.
in all cases if it “suddenly” stopped working, check what the latest windows where and reboot.
And in most cases this will be on wednesdays…

@longsleep Hi had a similar problem on Rocky 8.5 with same complaint resolved by upgrading from php 7.2 to 7.4, however, when trying to install z-push it complains ‘nothing provides php-mapi-webapp’ Just wondering if you had similar problem

Current kc:core master already builds against PHP8 with a few tweaks.
Sofar, it seems to have no major issues running on Debian 11 with PHP8.

@sultansofswing you can modify DB directly use it at your own risk:
select objectid from objectproperty where propname=‘emailaddress’ and value=‘user@example.com’;
gets you objectid:

update objectproperty set value=1 where objectid=1025 and propname=‘ishidden’;

then do “kopano-admin --sync”

Hi. Yes i created it with the kopano webapp. All 31 items are yearly recuring calendar items. there is no reason given why these items are looping.

when i delete and recreate the recuring item again it will loop on these items.

here is one item that is causing a problem.

Validating entry: “Mylo jarig”
Invalid property dispidRecurrenceState - Recoverable recurrence state.
Fix broken property? [yes/no]: yes

but when i run it again it still fails on these items.

I tested some more.it only happens on recuring items. and it does not matther if i create them true kopano webapp or true my mobile phone.

Mobile loop detetion is gone. however kopano-fsck keeps giving me the errors. also z-push gives me this output

/usr/share/z-push/lib/request/itemoperations.php:392 Undefined index: deletesubfolders (8)

Although this seems as thread necromancy, but I’v got a problem regarding this topic:
I have created postfix maps, which access the Kopano mysql database to check for valid users, so that incoming mails are sorted into the corresponding kopano mailboxes.

I have switched to Linux recently, and want to have all my emails offline, too, so I installed evolution on my client and kopano gateway and ical on my server.
But If I now want to send emails using evoultion (SMTP), the email server (dovecot and postfix) prohibits the unknown sender (from a foreign IP).

Can anybody tell me how to allow kopano users to be able to use the SMTP service?

Took me some time to figure this out, so if someone else stumbles upon the problem:

setdefaultsignature.py is no longer available on github, it was removed with this commit

the replacement for this is kopano-webapp-admin.py which is available here and worked fine for me when run with pyhon3.

Other problems I’ve just stumbled upon:

Kopano-WebApp/DeskApp doesn’t offer calibri font, so if half your company uses Outlook and half uses Kopano DeskApp, you can’t have those DeskApp users write in the same html font (which was set as corporate standard by the outlook users).

Kopano-WebApp/DeskApp doesn’t allow embedding images, for which there is a workaround (previously setdefaultsignature.py, but this does not seem to exist anymore, now there is kopano-webapop_admin.py which should be used along with a manually created signature in a text editor with the image embedded as base64 code). This does actually work, and making it work and having the image properly embedded for two users only took me two hours.
