I found this (importing again as double items) to be the case after having found the import process killed, and after a restart. What’s more: at first I did not notice this, so I have a store with most of the items 5 times there.

Did not see this behaviour when using the imap importer (which I cannot use in this case).

Is there a way to “undouble” the messages in the stores?

It is copied to https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/server:mail:kopano/kopano when an update there is made (which happens more or less after a tag).

@mast what were you trying to do? Which distribution and version are you running, and which version of Kopano?

I should add that if you have a subscription that you get in contact with the support team instead!

with the packages we are providing we are always only supplying builds for the php version that comes by default with the distribution. In case you are using packages from the Ubuntu repositories I would recommend to contact their maintainers for issues installing them.

Generally I would recommend to use our packages and stick with the distributions listed as supported in our manual.

Summary: It is rather random.

I haven’t been able to pin point when and where it happens.

Two messages appear in the destination (remote bank) outlook and they look the same but one and the other doesn’t.

I’ll have to keep trying till I find some consistently reproducible error.

I do think there is a problem somewhere (likely to be in Kopano-core) as I have never seen this happening before with 8.6

As I said working in that bank is my day job therefore I send myself plenty of invites from Kopano to there and I have only ever seen this happening after I recently upgraded to 8.7.5

I was able to solve it by upgrading to a newer version.

@jengelh was a good direction. Actually the cause was that I’ve IPv6 deactivated. I was finally activating IPv6 and it was working.

Sorry if i was a bit unclear…
but this :

should be noted as :

deb [trusted=yes] file://home/username/kopano-repo amd64/

or any other path you like to use.

you can safely ignore these :

Ign:6 file:/xxxxx Translation-en
all the Translation parts, you can disable that in apt, but not really needed.

Read flag changes are only detected if the flags are changed from the folder viewpoint, for example:

I’m not sure how you can receive item.read = False changes from ICS.

Virtualmin do something different. So in getmailconfigs to fetch mails i have to change something. Thanks on my colleague.

Imho this is inadequate for the facts:
With current implementation, autoresponder(-tools) is not a “common use-case”, but an integral part of dagent’s OOF-capability and thus doesn’t qualify for being part of an optional’ package (, yet).

That was exactly the right clue:

copy_delegate_mails = move-to-rep

Actually, I could have found it myself if I had read the configuration file. But it’s not enough to just make updates. I should have checked the new configuration files in the packages for new parameters or values.

@genesis74 we do have some scripts for that somewhere. In some older posts you posted a supported version number, hence I would assume you have a subscription.
