I tried a combination from kopano-cli-Parameters, not the best idea today, “-G” deletes the group in kopano-admin-commands

--group, -G NAME Specify group. Without further arguments, this will show information about the given group. Can also be used in combination with e.g. --list-users.

You can use both, we don’t have install dependencies for both of them.
database_engine is always MySQL so also if you want to use MariaDB

since you now have a paid subscription I would recommend to get in contact with the Kopano support. Please don’t forget to supply the exact versions (before and now) when opening the case.

To everyone else: I tried both the 16.04 and 18.04, but only the 20.04 works. The issue is that Kopano has some newer dependencies that 16.04 and 18.04 will not support, so the packages are partially old and do not work together.

If you want to use the community version, you need to upgrade to 20.04…

Changes available in Stash/GH, was posted to Kopano on 2020-08-19, and nothing happened then.

Well, the error messages have changed slightly, but at least the clients (Outlook via Activesync w/o KOE, Mail on iOS) do not seem to complain anymore.

Previously the clients would show a popup stating that the username/password was wrong, which I just had to <cancel> multiple times till it went away and synching of Kopano server to the clients resumed.

The new error message:

In my case I made a rule in our SMTP Gateway dropping all incoming mails which have our maildomain in the senders address field.

Have a look at your Firewall/ Gateway/ UTM for that. Or if your Kopano server is accepting external mails directly, have a look at your Spamfilterconfig or you could use procmail for that.
