display name configurable in GAB

Hello,
is the display name for the entries in the GAB configurable? By default the display name looks like

GivenName Name (Emailaddress)

It seems that Outlook stores this display name in the “suggested contacts”. So if you want to use this convenience you have to know the first name of your colleagues. This is not very common in Germany. We’d prefer

Name, GivenName (emailaddress)

And it seems that others have the same requirement:

Apart from that KOE is using the same attributes Kopano itself is getting from the LDAP.

Hi Felix,

thanks for your quick reply. I found this setting myself, but it doesn’t seem to have an effect.
I synced GAB again and restarted Outlook.
When I look in the GAB-Folder in Outlook the contacts are stored in the correct order. But when I open the contact it looks like that:

In Kopano Webapp the GAB is correct and I cannot see this field.

kopano-admin --details user

also does not display this field. In AD there is no field containing such a value.
Because Outlook refuses to edit contacts in the GAB, I think the gab-sync is the right place to alter/fix this.

@afischer ah, that is the display name of the email address. we have no way to influence this.

The setting only concern the display name of the contact itself.
