No rights to see Shared Folders

Not sure which folder this should be in but I’m having the issue in OL right now so I will place it here:
So, this was a source of much frustration when using CALDAV in the past, where we had to assign the Everyone group “No Rights” to the entire Mail Store and then assign rights to the shared calendars…
The behavious seems to be the same in OL w/ KOE.
Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

You need to give the user “folder view” permissions on the root folder of the other user. Not on the Inbox (Posteingang), but it’s parent folder (generally called “Inbox - username”).
