Then still, the question remains: can you get an original eml logged by the dagent as described here: https://forum.kopano.io/post/1787 ?
RE: UTF-8 Eencoding with quotes
Ohm, this looks exactly like your question from 28 days ago…
RE: Renamed Subject is not synced to server
This will not work as in ActiveSync there is no way of “editing emails” (which is also the limitation why the Draft folder sync is not supported).
To be very honest, I always found that to be a very droll feature and I always recommended people not to use it.
Resuming: OL (with or without KOE) will not be able to handle this correctly. It will be changed in Outlook, but will never be synchronized to the server. It’s a local change only.
RE: Z-Push 2.3.x beta/pre-final updates
Some more changes for 2.3.8:
https://jira.z-hub.io/browse/ZP-1238 Resources booked in Outlook are saved as “required” attendees
https://jira.z-hub.io/browse/ZP-1247 Unexpected synckey (StateInvalidException) for backends without FolderStats support
https://jira.z-hub.io/browse/ZP-1248 Include WindowsMail in the list of long timeout clients
https://jira.z-hub.io/browse/ZP-1249 WP 8.1: Empty sync + empty response trigger loop
These tickets are mostly important for the WindowsMail client and for Windows Mobile. ZP-1249 fixes an issue introduced with ZP-1241 (included in 2.3.8beta0+22), so an update is highly encouraged when using Windows Phone clients.
openSuse repositories: due to a malfunction of our build service we are temporarily not able to provide packages for openSuse 13.2 and 42.2. We will fix this and update the repositories asap.
Current version of the pre-final repository is 2.3.8beta0+31.
RE: GAB entries look like appointments reminders
Please upgrade to KOE 1.4 RC, announced here: https://kopano.com/kopano-ol-extension-1-4-rc-now-available/
RE: Categories in WebApp (was: "Linking Several Calendars to on Calendar in other Users Acount")
To be honest I have a certain difficulty understanding what you mean.
ActiveSync supports categories for appointments. Not sure if (and which) client support these, but they are part of the protocol and implemented in Z-Push.
I think what you want to do is to share calendars. This works on a folder level. The shared calendars are additional calendar folders that are then on your phone. Some Android phones don’t support folders and show all the calendars “together”. This generates a lot of confusion and makes it harder to e.g. create an appointment in a certain folder. IOS devices handle that much better imho.
At the moment there is no easy way to setup shared folders on mobile devices.
The easiest atm is to use the static configuration in the main Z-Push config file if you don’t have many devices and users and want to handle a few folders.
To have something more individualized, you should use the webservice as described here (needs some additional technical skill): https://wiki.z-hub.io/display/ZP/Webservice#Webservice-AdditionalFolderforUsers(Z-Push2.3.xorhigher)
In the near future it will be possible to configure shared folders on mobiles via the WebApp MDM plugin.
