I had to copy it over from another installation and fudge an “old” softlink to my newer libicuuc.so.63

I had to re-create /usr/lib/mapi.d/kopano.inf (which is in the file) and /etc/php/7.3/mods-available/kopano.ini (which is missing from the file) as well.

But you are right they are in file… I’ll put it down to working late :)

@kmeyer yes, you can use the aliases file in postfix to also resolve one address to multiple recipients.

@mmain for the most part it will likely work, but there are also functionalities that won’t like the newer import/export functionality and oidc login.

Another option would be buying a Kopano subscription. At this point in time there are still packages for the 8.7.x release available for RHEL7.

But if you take a look here

almost every distribution ships mariaDB…so I’d suggest to use mariaDB:-)

I have found the issue and fixed it. It has just been merged to master and also backported to older versions. You should now get proper logging and also get the right warnings when the set limits are passed. Please let me know if something else is still not working for you.

Yes, for calendar invitations this is indeed expected. Whenever the part that auto responds/processes these encounters an issue, the file is stored so that the issue at hand with the appointment can be easier reproduced and fixed.

I have been logging the open files for two months now and they are fluctuating between 150 right after kopano-startup to a high of about 500. I’m currently at ~350 after an uptime of 17 days. I really don’t see any problem here matthi. I’m however certainly not willing to go for 3 months without kernel upgrades just to test this wild theory.

Maybe you are not rebooting due to kernel live patching, but I really have the feeling you are not installing security updates. So a lot more is rotten here than just an increasing number of open files.

and also, already showed this before… still not in kopano and without it you still get unneeded errors in your logs…

One question, I did not understand until now why smtpstd is needed. Postfix can transfer mails encrypted - smtps, then what is the purpose of smtpstd from Kopano?
