@compsos said in error when running kopano-storeadmin -M:

Does anyone have a script the would export all data belonging to all active users to another data file?

that should be doable with kopano-backup. if you do not pass a specific user it will backup all users on the server.

@mculibk I would say you would need to implement your own user backend then. The current backends (db, ldap, Unix) are just plugins as well.

@mculibk said in Kopano with USC *AND* MS Active Directory:

      Any hints on this?

I’d recommend to ask in the ucs forum about this. I think I’ve read at some point that the mapping can be configured.

@mculibk said in Kopano with USC *AND* MS Active Directory:

Is there any “gain” in installing Kopano from UCS Apps if MS AD is used as backend?

Yes, Kopano is also configured through the app (for the default ucs environment at least) .

@mculibk said in Kopano with USC *AND* MS Active Directory:

Reading the source - I should add some extended attributes (kopano-company etc) and hooks to handle changes done through UMC, right?
Do you have any link/reference of something similar that was already done, as you mention?

No, unfortunately no ready to run examples. But our support can surely create them for you.

@mculibk said in Kopano with USC *AND* MS Active Directory:

I totally agree… but in the case of wanting to use AD as Kopano ldap backend I’m not sure if it’s the right way?

See it the other way around: If you neither want to use the ucs appcenter, nor its ldap, then there is also not much use in ucs as an OS for you.

@Gerald said in Problems with Webapp 3.5.7 - could not send mails:

Really sad how often the build process breaks. Or how seldom it works correctly. You get the impression that testers for the daily builds are not really wanted at all.

Please have in mind that these daily builds are “just” automated builds based on our current development branches. These are not finished products that are there for people to test our software with. If you want to evaluate our software it is recommended to request a trial subscription. As for going into production deployments having a subscription with access to tested and supported packages is of course also recommended.

Kopano is on its way to be included in some more distributions (like Debian 10), these distributions will then use a specified official release as well. But knowing the nature of these distributions they will also use way older versions than what is available to our customers (in packaged form at least).

Edit: I should mention that feedback retrieved from the builds of course also helps us in identifying issues in upcoming releases. While fixing issues in the development branch is not always the top priority (paying customers are) we are of course happy for feedback received and even more grateful if the more advanced users (like @umgfoin for example) also provide patches to us.

The main language on this forum is English, please keep your posts in English as well.

If must believe google translate you are missing kopano-dbadm in 8.5.5 ?
This is correct as kopano-dbadm was first released in 8.5.7 see the changelog

      @fbartels here we go,

      kopano-server:
      Installed: 8.7.81.26.cb837b4b9-0+227.1
      Candidate: 8.7.81.26.cb837b4b9-0+227.1
      Version table:
      *** 8.7.81.26.cb837b4b9-0+227.1 100
      100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I suppose I will have to downgrade the core, as read in aother tread, dealing with the same.

Just in case someone stumbles across this old thread:

      Adding

      reload(sys) sys.setdefaultencoding('utf-8')

      right after the

      import(sys)

      solved the problem for me.

      Okay thanks.

I see there are Python bindings to Kopano where you can read the user configs and modify the values. The required paths for me are in “contexts -> hierarchy -> shared_stores” where the shared stores are listed.

      Thanks & best regards

Quite the contrary. In fact, it is what actually works on an unmodified RHEL7.

It seems you are mixing our packages with the ones provided by the ubuntu repos. I recommend to remove the packages from the ubuntu repos.

So, now all issues are solved.

the last bit was related to Z-PUSH and the apache config. As written in the thread here :
      https://forum.kopano.io/topic/1634/centos7-no-matter-what-i-get-access-denied-please-send-authorisation-information/5

I also had to add the line: SetEnvIf Authorization “(.*)” HTTP_AUTHORIZATION=$1
      to my config.

Thanks to: @thctlo, @mcostan and @fbartels for your support and guidance much appreciated.

@umgfoin said in email rules don't match when the mail header is too large:

To my understanding, HRESULT TestRestriction(const SRestriction *lpCondition, IMAPIProp *lpMessage,
const ECLocale &locale, ULONG ulLevel) is doing the compare-part of the rule-evaluation. Supposely we need the HrGetFullProp-variant there, too.

I’m testing this, right now and will report back asap.

      Hi Felix @fbartels ,
      test successful:
Substituting relevant GetOneProp-calls with GetFullProp in Utils::TestRestriction fixes the here discussed problem. I’ll post a PR to Github later on.

      PR here.

      bg umgfoin.

      Hi Sebastian,

maybe it would be an idea to use good old Outlook Spy++ - have a look at Message without the 3rd party software and have a look afterwards ( no paid advertisment for Outlook Spy++ ).

Another option would be to modify i.e. the Spam Scanner Daemon Python script and let it dump on change of item all properties.
