Apple Addressbook and Kopano
-
Hi there,
is there any possibility to get Apple Addressbook work with Kopano?
I read a lot about this problem.
I tried the sabre-zarafa-project.
I installed it like this: https://www.invenios.de/blog/127-kopano-thunderbird-teil4/
With the browser, I can see all my contacts–> check.
I connected the Apple Addressbook app with the sabre-server and wow, it starts with syncing, but it suddenly stopped. I don’t know why. I have 2225 contacts.
Sometimes Apple Addressbook imports only 310 contacts, sometimes 2100.Does anyone have an idea, what I can do?
Two further questions I have
- Can I also write to the Kopano contacts over sabre or is it an read-only interface?
- Is there another way to get the Kopano contacts to Apple OS Sierra?
I thank you a lot?
Best regards!
René

Without any logging its hard to say whats going on. Maybe you can also reach other users of this software through the official github repository at https://github.com/1afa/sabre-zarafa. The last commit to the repository was quite a while ago, but there was some recent activity in a pull request.

At least the description does not indicate the opposite.

No, as of yet there is no official support for CardDav in Kopano. The only official client on OS X would be DeskApp. Another community project would be https://github.com/jobisoft/TbSync for Thunderbird, but I don’t know how well it works (the issue tracker makes it seem like it works, though).
