Here is a weird request…
We have a department, that as a matter of procedure, print out a screen shot of the inbox of a shared account before anyone starts working on it.
This printout is a record as to which emails were in the inbox before the users started working on it so they can prove that they did or didn’t work on an email request. I realize that email itself might not be the best system to deal with this, a CMS or some bespoke system would be much better, but we are where we are.
I was hoping there would be a way to select a number of emails and export a digest of the sender, subject and date or some other format. Right now they are using the web browser to “save” the page which works, but if still doesn’t print nice if there are more emails then can be displayed in a single page.
