      Hello forum,

      i was unable to create a link when creating a tasks.
      The editor dosnt give an option to make a link clickable and does not recognise links when pasted or written down.

      Deskapp has the same behaviour. - Is this a bug or is there an option i can set to enable it?
      Best would be to get the “create link icon” at the top, like in email editor.

        @coffee_is_life

        i did some testing but im stuck in functions and configs. -.-

        is there any way i can use the TinyMCE Editor in Tasks and Kalendar? - With this i could create working links (like teams-meetings, invite-links to kopano-meet etc?)

        If not, treat this as a feature request for kopano-webapp/deskapp.

        best regards,

          Hi @Coffee_is_life
          with https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-114 and https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KW-181 there were feature requests for this.
          Research showed that feature is not feasible to implement for our current clients so the tickets were closed as “Won’t do”

          best regards
          Mathias

            @mkuemmerle

            Thanks for the response. If its not possible to save the item in html mode, is there a way to interpret “http(s):something” while display the item, without changing the way its saved?

            So if an item is opened there is a plain text parser which seeks for links and make it clickable in frontend, but its still plain text in backend?
            This way the item wont be broken if saved, but links are still clickable if opened in (web|desk)app? - or am i on a dead end with my thoughts?

            //EDIT: if i create a task in desk/webapp with a plain text link (http://test.de), the link is clickable if open the task in outlook. - so the workaround with a frontend link-parser should be possible

            best regards,
