The kopano-webapp package (and its plugins) does not have a copy of the default config files in a example-config directory. There are symbolic links under /usr/share/kopano-webapp/ to files in /etc/kopano/webapp. For example: /usr/share/kopano-webapp/plugins/smime/config.php -> /etc/kopano/webapp/config-smime.php.

I don’t fully understand what that purpose those symbolic link fulfill. If I have modified the config files and come back some time later and want the default file for reference it is not there.

Would it not be better to have a copy of the default config files somewhere? Here for example /usr/share/doc/kopano-webapp/example-config.

I have come to realize that rephrasing the above might add some clarity. So now read this instead:

The kopano-webapp package (and its plugins) does not have a copy of the default config files in a example-config directory.

Lets say that I have modified the config files and come back some time later and want the default file for reference. But there is none.

It would be useful to have copies of the default config files somewhere; here for example /usr/share/doc/kopano-webapp/example-config.
