Mail sidebar visual optimization

Hi,

In our company we use Kopano and I use the Webapp, which is a good solution, but as we have a lot of folders, the mail sidebar if full of folders some are favorites some are from my mail account and some are from global accounts, …

With some visual optimizations it would be easier to navigate through all this folders.

a better separation between favorites and the other folders
a folder search (which would be a kind of filter so show only the folders fit the search) would be awesome
As most folders have a generic folder icon, maybe have there a kind of more specific icon or at least an option for colored folders or labels. I don’t know, but the long list with folders didn’t help for visual filtering.

@andreas_k Could you give an example what’s unclear about favorites and other folders?

Option 2 is a nice idea, 3 as well.
