Appointments cant store attachments

Hello Forum,
if i try to create or edit an appointment trought outlook 2016, every option for attaching a file (mailelement, file, signature or vcr) is grayed out.
In Deskapp/webapp i can create an appointment and attach any file i need.
Some suggestions/ideas?

unfortunately this is a limitation with Outlook over activesync and therefore Microsoft disabled the buttons for these actions.
