Outlook doesn't send mails with attachment

Hi,

the environment:

Server2012R2 as Domain Controller,
Server 2012R2 as Terminal Server (another machine),
serveral GPOs to configure Office (if relevant I’ll post them),
Office 2016 32-bit,
Kopano afaik newest version (Server and Client).

The problem:

the user wants to send an excel sheet as attachment to several recipients (to and cc). the work flow is: He opens the sheet in excel, selects from the file backstage menu “share” (I hope that’s the entry in english versions) “Email”. Outlook opens a new mail with the attached file. He enters the mail addresses and clicks “Send”.

That nearly never works. The user gets a message that due to network or communication problems the process couldn’t be done

Sometimes he can save the mail and send it afterwards but normally the failure also whilst saving the mail appears.

In the event viewer I found two entries. One informational which repeats the same message that the user got:

Just a guess but maybe something like php_max_execution_time or upload limit in php.
Have a look at your php.ini

yes, most likely. Looking in the webserver logging will tell.
