Refresh counter for shared folder

Hello everyone,
My company is currently looking into migrating to a new mail system and I was tasked with looking at Kopano because I allready knew it.
I’ve setup a test system and created some mailboxes to show the different functions.
We use a lot of shared folders for various purposes.
We noticed that, in the Web- & DeskApp, that the unread mail counter, next to the folder name, was not updated for any shared folder that was opened by a user.
I only updates when the folder is opened.Is this correct or is there a setting that we need to adjust?
