Wildcard in rules

I created rules with wildcards like “root.*@example.com”
With one of the latest updates this does not work anymore and the rule is ignored by kopano-dagent.
Is this a bug, or a feature?

Please provide exact versions. Updates of kopano-webapp or kopano-server?

These are the current versions with which it no longer works:
Kopano: 8.7.9.0-0+16.1
Webapp: 3.5.14.2539+111.1

The last version I used and with which wildcard rules worked:
Kopano: 8.7.5.0-0+43.1
Webapp: 3.5.11.2455+107.1

I am not aware of any wildcard support in rules in KC’s processing proper, especially not .*-style RE.

To catch all emails from a particular domain in a rule must we list each and every email address in the rule?

No but it should be possible to list single email addresses with wildcards in a rule. See my example.
