Sync Problem with Outlook iOS
i found these entries in the z-push.log:
08/01/2020 14:24:01  [ INFO] [christian] StateNotFoundException: FileStateMachine->GetState(): Could not locate state '/var/lib/z-push/f/7/1714a73a90ac41f1bb8cc0824963e87f-3360ec82-28ca-4f1e-ac44-295451094bdc-1037' - code: 0 - file: /usr/share/z-push/lib/default/filestatemachine.php:126
and my Outlook App on my iPhone is out of sync. Whats wrong?
what is wrong that Outlook iOS apparently tries to sync a state which is not known for Z-Push. Did you try to force resync or reconfigure account?
I have already executed a resync several times and also deleted and recreated the account in the Outlook app. What surprised me when deleting the account is that it is still trying to contact my Z-Push via an IP address from Microsoft. Is this phenomenon known?
Is this phenomenon known?
Yes, that is like this since the first release of the app. it does not connect directly but uses a “proxy” in between to manage the connection, which also means that they must be storing the user password. This is also the main reason I would not recommend to use it (the Android version is the same)
okay, thanks for your feedback. I had tested the OutlookApp because I was looking for an alternative MailApp for iOS.
I just deleted the app and changed my password.
Thanks a lot
