      Hello,
      we have a small team, which used to organize their work with tasks in Outlook. With Outlook 2010 and the mapi-client they used the features send and accept tasks and set different categories for tasks.
      Now we switched to Outlook 2016 with KOE and set up a shared mailbox for the team and imported the tasks. We learned that no attachments for tasks are supported in ActiveSync 14. And that you cannot move emails between ActiveSync accounts. I also persuade them to not use the send/accept feature for tasks anymore.
      Yesterday they reported that changes to their own tasks in Outlook won’t show up in Deskapp/Webmail. I looked at the logfiles and found several errors like:

      06/12/2018 13:13:28 [27071] [ERROR] [michael] WBXMLDecoder->getElementEndTag(): could not read end tag in '/usr/share/z-push/lib/request/sync.php:533'. Please enable the LOGLEVEL_WBXML and send the log to the Z-Push dev team.
      06/12/2018 13:13:28 [27071] [FATAL] [michael] WBXMLException: Unknown error in Sync->Handle() - code: 0 - file: /usr/share/z-push/lib/request/requestprocessor.php:117
      06/12/2018 13:13:28 [27071] [FATAL] [michael] WBXML 10K debug data:
      ...
      06/12/2018 13:13:28 [27071] [FATAL] [michael] Exception: (WBXMLException) - Unknown error in Sync->Handle()
      06/12/2018 13:13:28 [27071] [FATAL] [michael] Request could not be processed correctly due to a WBXMLException. Please report this including the 'WBXML debug data' logged. Be aware that the
      debug data could contain confidential information.

      We are running kopano 8.6.8 on CentOS 7.5.1804 with separate z-push-server (version 2.4.4) on CentOS 7.5.1804 (php 5.6 via software collection). The clients are 3 Windows 7 and 1 Windows 10 (1803) wiht Outlook 2016 and KOE 2.0.310.

      Is the “WBXML 10K debug data” in the logfile sufficient to analyse the problem, where can I send it? Or do we need a full WBXML-log?Shall I update KOE to 2.0.331 and or z-push 2.4.5)?

      Best regards,
      Achim

        Hi Achim,

        if you have a valid Kopano subscription, you can open an issue and attach the WBXML debug data there. If it’s not enough, we’ll ask you for more logs.

        You can also upload the logs somewhere and send me the link per PN.

        In Z-Push 2.4.5 there was a fix regarding recurring tasks, so maybe the upgrade fixes your issue.

        Manfred

            Hi Achim,

            I didn’t have time to look into it yet.

              Hi Achim,

              the incoming WBXML from the log you’ve sent ends abruptly in the request. Do you have a complete WBXML log for it?

              Manfred

                I’m sorry, there is no additional log.
                I’ll set the log parameter to create a full log for one of the user, resync again and try to reproduce the problem.
                Meanwhile I have updated kopano (8.6.9) and z-push (2.4.5).

                Best regards,
                Achim
