But i do work on a Mac, and there is also works ;)
Also dragging screenshots from a Finder window in the email body works, etc.

So what is specifically not working, @FoxholeCommander ?

        Hi @FoxholeCommander

Does it work with you now?

Is there a trick or need to configure drag & drop?
For me it does not work either in the Webapp or DeskApp.

        Regards Alexander

Ok, sometimes it helps to you ask the right question.
I’ve always tried to drop the attachments to the mailbody
(as I have done in the outlook) .

If I drop it direct on the attachmant field it works well. ;-)

            Thank you

Never worked for me on my iMac. Do I need to configure something?
Attaching files to emails is a very tedious taak without drag and drop.

If I drag a mail item from Inbox in Kopano and drag it to any Finder window, I expect it to create a msg file but it doesn’t happen. Also, if I’m composing a new message and try to drag and drop to attach, it doesn’t work either. I always have to click on Attachments button, navigate to the file I want to attach and then select it.

Such a functionality is not implemented

You have to drag the attachment into the box, where uploaded attachments are usually listed.

Thanks for the second point, it works now. I was using it like Outlook which accepts dropping the document anywhere in the message window.

Is there any plan to implement the functionality in point 1? It will also be useful to be able to save attachments to a local folder.

There is an open feature request for this (dragging out ‘objects’), but it is not currently on the roadmap. This topic is looked into from time to time, but browser support for ‘drag out’ is currently limited. Saving attachments or complete messages to your local storage on the other hand is already possible.

                          Regards, Bob
