      Hello all,

      i’ve just updated my Core-Version from “8.2.1-530” to “8.3.0-1024”.

      Restarted the Server - All ok (dont worry :) )

      But my external Webapp wont recognize the new version - in settings-tab the Displayed Core-Version is still “8.2.1-530”
      I’ve restarted the http (systemctl restart httpd24-httpd) and cleared my local cache. Connected agian and still get the old version.

      The Connection from webapp to KC is done via TCP socket ( http://<servername>:236/kopano )

      KC-Server:

      rpm -q kopano-server
      kopano-server-8.3.0~1042-2.1.x86_64

      where does the Webapp get this information? - it has no interference with the daily work but its good to know

        @Coffee_is_life did you also update Kopano core on your external server? The version information always comes from the local php-mapi build.

          @fbartels,

          i’ve got no Kopano-Core Server installed on the webapp… But this packages:

          rpm -qva |grep kopano
          kopano-lang-8.2.1.530-2.1.x86_64
          kopano-common-8.2.1.530-2.1.x86_64
          kopano-webapp-3.2.0.335-19.1.noarch
          libgsoap-kopano-2_8_43-2.8.43-1.2.x86_64
          kopano-contacts-8.2.1.530-2.1.x86_64
          libvmime-kopano1-0.9.2-8.2.x86_64
          kopano-client-8.2.1.530-2.1.x86_64
          kopano-webapp-lang-3.2.0.335-19.1.noarch

          Can i upgrade only Kopano-items with version = “8.2.1”? - i dont want to upgrade webapp at this point.

            @Coffee_is_life sure, why wouldn’t you?

            But on the other hand I don’t understand the hesitation to upgrade WebApp.

              @fbartels, thats because we got some persistent bugs with the communication to Outlook via Z-Push (will try 2.3.7 as soon as possible with KOE 1.4) - and WebApp is a System that works without Problems. Something like a Backup-Solution… And it would be very bad if i would break this one. - So im going in small steps, just to be save.

                @Coffee_is_life it’s way easier to accidentally break your system during a core upgrade, than by updating WebApp #justsaying
