    Can't open some e-mails with webapp

      We’ve recently upgraded from Kopano Webapp 4.8.x to 5.0.1.0+166.1 on Debian 10. After that some users reported errors when they try to open older mails. They got the error “Could not find message, either it has been moved or deleted or you don’t have access to open this message.”

      After further investigation i was able to reproduce this issue: Affected are all mails older then ~47 days from internal senders (we use ldap as backend). I’ve also detected some mails created around one week ago in the drafts folders with the same behaviour.

      Other object types like calendar entries, notes, contacts as well as mails from external senders are not affected (tested with Firefox, Edge, Chrome and kopano deskapp).

      Access over imap and eas is still possible without any problems (tested with freshly synced accounts).

        did you really just update WebApp or other components as well?

        Since this impacts your users I would rather recommend to open a ticket with the Kopano support directly (if you have a valid subscription): https://kopano.com/pricing/support-professional-services/
