smime siging all outgoing mails
-
Hi All,
Is there an option to sign outgoing emails standard?
Kind Regards,
Chris

@ckruijntjens Not possible yet.
We have some ideas but is a lot of effort to implement.See https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KSP-1 for example

We had a similar requirement and due to other smime issues in Kopano we decided to not use Kopano but instead place a CipherMail server ( https://www.ciphermail.com/ ) in front of our Kopano server.
Users don’t need to worry about smime keys, all outbound messages are signed and even encrypted if we have the key. Plus public keys for third parties are shared between all users.
So if I receive a signed e-mail from you out entire organization knows your key and everybody will send you encrypted mails from now on.No issues whatsoever it works very well with Kopano just the GUI is extremely slow.

hi,
we use seppmail (great swiss product) instead of ciphermail. https://www.seppmail.ch/
If You like a great but non opensource system, with good support options. You can also connect to a mPKI to automate certificate creation. -

@pixel a feature like that (sharing keys between users etc.) is not planned at the moment. If you need that kind of feature, you will need a dedicated solution for it.
