Conversation View entry in config.php

Dear Kopano-Team/Users,

I’d like to enable the option to activate/deactivate the conversation view.

Looking at the manual
https://documentation.kopano.io/webapp_admin_manual/config.html
the following option should be available on the webapp memberserver in /usr/share/kopano-webapp/config.php and be set to true.

define("ENABLE_CONVERSATION_VIEW", false);

I cannot find this option. Is there also a possibilty to set this via UCR-variable or can I simply add the define if it is not there?

I think you have to use webapp 4.x or later to have conversation view

I can not find this option too. And i have Webapp 4.5 installed. If i set this option manualy - nothing happens. I have enabled the option in settings @my user.

So what is to do, to have conversations?

If you always keep your old config.php you have to copy it over from config.php.dist
The config option is just there to show the settings in the user’s setting, because it’s all experimental still.

If the settings are visible in the user’s settings then the config option is working.

Maybe you’re running into the bug that conversation view does not work with pagination. Infinite scroll needs to be on.

Thanks for your answer, so if this feature is stable it will appear without setting params in the config.php?

That’s the plan.

I’m running it since the beginning of development and so far it works quite well. My inbox is 1.1gb

I have this option also enabled since announced and it works well to mee too (inbox with 51k items and 4.2GB)
initial loading of mails is a bit slower when enabled the converation view but thas ok (only about 1-3 sec slower as compared with this option disabled)
