Global Address Book segregation

Hello, I’m using Kopano for my personal use with my family, and recently a friend was in need of an email address.
I created him an account and I would like to know if I can either disable the global address book or have a kind of separate address books.
I don’t want him to see all my family emails and I dont want my family seeing emails I’m creating for friends.
Is they a way to solve that ?I’m using the DB backed, so I don’t really know what are the privacy settings I can put to an user except admin and active.

if you want complete separation, then Kopano supports multi-tenancy features to separate tenants from each other. Each tenant would have its own GAB and own public store and would be clueless about other tenants and their users on the same system.
You can also deactivate the gab display in WebApp (see https://stash.kopano.io/projects/KW/repos/kopano-webapp/browse/config.php.dist#110-111), but this only accounts for the initial display as you can still search the gab and also when composing a mail the gab data will still be used for auto complete.

Thanks for the reply, I think multi-tenancy is perfect for what I want to do. Can you enlighten me how I can do that ? should I just specify a company for an account ? (using the -c parameter with kopano-cli ?)
