      Dear Kopano Admins,

i have an mailaccount for example: ab@domain.net in ldap
and one alias: kopanoAliases: hostmaster@domain.net in the same account.

incoming mail works to my inbox. also sending.

now i want move alle incoming mail to hostmaster@domain.net to a folder

      i created a rule.
i want to set “was send to” the global addressbook opens but there are no aliases.

ok than i will use “contains the following words in the recipient address” and hostmaster@domain.net. i tried also only the word “hostmaster”.

      i saved the rule.

but it will not work :-(.

      Has anyone an idea ?

      Thanks

      Thomas

        Hi @tboernert,

during delivery the dagents resolves all aliases to the user object. this is by design, but also means that you cannot have rules/filters that would act on an alias. once the email is delivered there is no trace that it was originally delivered to hostmaster@domain.net.

edit: to debug rules you could raise the logging of kopano-dagent and watch its log.

        Regards Felix

          Hi @fbartels,

          thank you.

a solution would be to create a seapate user who is inactiv with this mail address and the deliver them to a public folder.

          this works. right ?

          thanks

            Hi @bartels,

            it works against your opinion.

i set the rule to the headerlines und search for "for hostmaster@domain.net.

it will be delivered to the folder.

            fine.

            Thomas

@tboernert ah yes right. I forgot that. In the mail header the info is preserved.

              Regards Felix
