Paste with middle mouse button

In Firefox and Webapp under Linux it is not possible to insert text with the middle mouse button. In other web applications like Mediawiki or Dokuwiki this works.
This feature is very handy if you can e.g. select text from a terminal and insert it with the middle mouse button (Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V does not work in “vim” like this)

Can this feature be activated anywhere in webapp?
Alternatively, this would be a Feature Request.

Thanks for finding the ticket!
It seems that the functionality of the middle mouse button has been generally disabled here: https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KW-2411
A better option instead of disabling basic functionality would be to give the user the ability to configure the behavior.

Is there any way for me to find out where in the source code of the application the changes have taken place?

that’s right, that’s the change!
Commenting the code, reactivates the middle mouse button.
It would be nice to have a configuration option.
