Document Management System [DMS] for Kopano

Hello folks,
I am looking for a DMS solution to integrate easily with Kopano. I’m looking for two use cases:
(1) open-source, free, or at least minimal cost (no monthly basis! only one-time fee) for the use with Kopano community edition for private use.
and additionally for another site
(2) open-source, running Kopano Pro subscription for enterprise use.
IIRC I did read about some integration with Agorum or Alfresco products but the forum search here didn’t reveal any hits for those two brands. As I did read on the wikipedia article about DMS Alfresco is a proprietary product which I will not look further into. So I asked Google and found some hits for Agorum.
There seems to be Agorum core open which suits for (1) and the higher pricing/license models would certainly suit for (2). In some german blogs (this or that) I did see how this looks like and in my understanding it interacts with Kopano through WebDAV. Means, it needs to have Kopano Files running, right?
My general question is --> is there any certain DMS solution which works best with Kopano ? Should I focus to Agorum or are there other solutions possible? Does it need certain plugins or interfaces for Kopano use or can all other DMS systems easily integrate in Kopano?
Anyone have experience in this topic and can give some advice and hints? Any helpful information really appreciated. Looking forward to your comments.

does that mean there’s no DMS solution compatible/integratable with/to Kopano ?

Hi @micro,
the one option would definitely be Agorum. In the end everything that could be interfaced with through the files addon for WebApp would work.
