Hi, I’m using the files plugin with Nextcloud 14, plugin is at 2.1.1.
I’m not seeing any directories added or removed after I did the initial account setup (owncloud backend type using kopano credentials) unless I clear /var/lib/kopano-webapp/plugin_files/<servername>

So, they are being cached indefinite…

      OS is Ubuntu 16.04.

What can I do to fix this?

        Hey,
in my experience you can refresh the cache by going into the files tab. next you switch into a folder that changed and then you click the refresh button on the top left.

I find it quite annoying as well, but at least this works for me.
I would prefer, if the cache would be re-validated and refreshed from time to time.

We’ve created a ticket for this here: https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KFP-394

Manually reloading of the hierarchy is something we’re working on. Ticket: https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KFP-243

            Hello,

I was wondering when the bug will be fixed.

As it is now, the Files plugin is broken… can’t be used at all.

              Hi Marty,

I was wondering when the bug will be fixed.

The issue here is that the files plugin is essentially broken certainly with the latest version of owncloud (production) that I am using as well as reading above for nextcloud too…

                We’re still working on https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KFP-243

That ticket contains a big rewrite of the hierarchy in files and so should work a lot quicker and better.

Right now the hierarchy is refreshed after login, the other ‘hierarchy’ in the so called main panel can be refreshed with the refresh button, or simply pressing F5. Also, this is not something related to an ownCloud version.

Btw you can track the ticket for status updates.

                  Hi Marty,

Would any previous versions of the Files plugin solve this issue temporarily while this gets fixed?

Right now the Files plugin is essentially broken…

I can see that the problem is fixed taking the latest version of webapp from the community site and the latest version of the files plugin from the community site.

That solves my immediate problem, thanks a lot.

nope. with the latest community version of Webapp and the latest community version of files, the cache isn’t regenerated, I still see old stuff that has been deleted on the cloud ages ago…
