Show ALL messages

Hey all,

our employees often use the function “Show all e-mails” within Outlook. They need this function in Kopano DeskApp too but cannot find it. Is there any option to have ALL messages displayed within Kopano DeskApp?

For example, they want to search for older unwanted messages. In Outlook they could show ALL messages by creating a filter once and they can use it all the time. This filter contains really ALL messages within their mailbox. This filter needs to be created only once in Outlook. Then they click into this “All E-Mails” folder and sort by column “size” and can see the most biggest messages (mostly containing huge attachments) which they can select and delete.

How can they do this with Kopano Deskapp? We are running kopano-webapp 3.5.24.1929

We tried to klick onto the root of the mailbox and enter * in the search field for “All Folders”. Then we check the field “restrict …” --> Attachments. But we are facing two issues here:

there are also lots of messages shown without the attachment icon paperclip. Is this a known bug that the filter “restrict to attachments” does not work well?
the search result only shows the “Date” column, there is no “Size” column and we don’t see a possibility to customize the layout of this view. So there’s no possibility to sort by size.

Save your search query as a favorite filter.

True this does not work well.
We already have a fix for this and it’s currently in reviewing: https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KW-2951
