      Hi,

some of our users share their calenders and they give full permissions to some other users.
if the other users open the shared calender in webapp or desktop-app everything is fine. The user can see all calender Details and can make new appointments.
But opening the shared calender in outlook 2016, does not show appointment details. The user only see free / busy information.

Is that a special function in outlook and can it be disabled? The user has opened the shared calender with selecting the target user in glaobal adressbook. The typical way to invite a user directly from outlook does not work. This option is disabled / greyed out in outlook.

        Hi Andre,

what exactly does “The user has opened the shared calender with selecting the target user in glaobal adressbook.” mean? Did the user follow https://kb.kopano.io/display/WIKI/Setting+up+the+Kopano+OL+Extension#SettinguptheKopanoOLExtension-Openingandclosingsharedfolders(suchascalendars)? Could you provide screenshots?

@Manfred Ohhhh - viewing the screenshots and playing around - a little bit opens my eyes.
We have to open the calender with “shared folders”-menu and have to pickup the user and the
folder of the user - in our case the calendar.
Until now we opened tha calenders with open “remote calender” from outlook and selecting the
user from global adressbook… And in this way we only get free/busy times of the user.

Now everything is fine and the users see the calendardetails of the shared calendars.

          Thanks a lot.
          Andre
