Running on Devuan

Hello,

does anyone run Kopano on Devuan Jessie (except Debian Jessie)?
Just wonder if there is any expirience.

Hi @bmann ,

we recently removed the Debian init scripts from the packaging in favour of systemd, so you’d either have to write your own init scripts or pull ours from the git history.

Is it possible, that the packages for Debian 9 are broken at the moment?

While trying to install I’ve got errors regarding calls to update-rc.d, because init scripts are missing.

The calls are coming from maintainer scripts. May be those calls got not removed?

btw: Is there a Git repository including packaging scripts anywhere?

Yes, the 8.4.90.908 packages have an error in this regard. A fix is in https://jira.kopano.io/browse/KC-887 and those will be online in a few minutes.
