deskapp.ini Remember Password not working

KopanoDeskapp is asking every time while starting for the password despite of deskapp.ini value is set rememberPassword=true. Even in the DeskApp Settings Remember Password is checked.
Is there a way to fix it ?

it would be helpful to know the exact version you are encountering this on (and maybe additionally the distribution you are using).
