I’ve detected that some folders (subfolders) containing mails are missing if I access my store via IMAP interface, they are displayed in the web interface and they are also visible via ActiveSync, they do not include any special character.

Another thing is, that sometimes if I move a mail from the input folder to another one, the mail content is only “garbage”, after some investigation I recognised that the content is now directly an attachment, an attachment unrelated to the original mail content. This happens also with older versions of kopano/zarafa, I previously blamed Apple Mail, but it happens also with other clients (thunderbird, outlook)

current version running is 8.7.24 (Debian 10 lxc), but keep in mind that stores a quit old, created back with zarafa 7.1.x, upgraded to 8.4.x and finally to 8.7.24 running the needed db migration scripts (k-1216 and usmp)

any help would be appreciated, and yes there is an active subscription, but I think this should be discussed publicly because it might relates to older and newer community versions as well

no, as I already mentioned, there are no special characters, I’ve also tried to rename the folder without success

it seems that folders, which are created in the WebApp (5.2.0.0) will not be shown in the IMAP client, is there a way to show/set the folder properties, maybe the WebApp created folder isn’t marked as “mail” folder ?

I’ve done some more investigation, I’ve extracted the folder properties of one IMAP-missing folder and one IMAP-visible folder, but honestly, I see no difference, except name and some other properties, but no difference which may prevent it to not show up in IMAP:

              the invisible one:

missing folders issue is resolved, was my fault, using another IMAP client, the missing folders show up, tip from kopano support to refresh the folders in the subscription setting of thunderbird resolves the problem also in thunderbird.

but the other issue, regarding garbage after moving a message via IMAP, still remains
