      Following this thread Lock wait timeout exceeded we noticed this happens when a user does some cleaning in his mailbox, in our case a user tried to remove 30000+ messages (from Thunderbird) which caused the lock for everyone.

      I noticed that when using the kopano-cleanup script this lock issue doesn’t appear, is there a way to avoid locks when removing emails from a client ?
