Hello everyone :)
What’s best recommended Outlook versions, Kopano plugin versions?
I was able to get Outlook 2019 to work on a machine that initially had zarafaclient-7.2.6-52189 with Outlook 2010… but clean install on a different system, Outlook 2019 with same zarafaclient plugin, it won’t load. The initial blue square loading screen and eventually disappears. I suspect I can workaround by installing Outlook 2010 first…
Is there a newer version of zarafaclient I can download?
Is 2016 best version to use these days?
In meantime I’ll be testing Outlook 2019 / Kopano Outlook Extension 2.1-37 over Z-Push.
I’d love to hear of your suggestions on what you think is best robust configuration for large inboxes.
Is Outlook 2019 / latest Z-Push activeSync / latest Kopano Plugin just as robust these days as the zarafaplugin?

@junglemarc not supported but this might work for you.
install and old outlook, 2003 at least on that worked before.
install zarafa-client that worked with that outlook before.
install outlook 2016/19 ( side note, i only tested this on 2016 )
goto control panel , set icons to small and start E-mail (32bits)
configure the zarafa client.
This worked for me on a 6.30.x zarafa server and client.

@thctlo Yes that works. I am trying to find latest version of the Kopano MAPI plugin for Outlook. Is it possible to download the last version?
On the other side of things, I’ve been testing Outlook 2019 over z-push a lot. It works!
I had to raise the PHP memory limit. Unsure if there’s a recommended value in documentation. 128 or 256 megs is not enough for large inboxes.

@junglemarc yes, on my home machine i also use 2019 with z-push. works fine, “for me” also…
there is a like in the forum somewhere that shows the archived version.
if you raise the PHP limit, do it in all the php.ini 's (in the cli fpm, these folders in /etc/php )
my php is set to 128 and i have 2 persons with very large mailbox, like… 25Gb and 45Gb…

Hi, I had a similar problem, but I installed the original version of the Outlook, and reinstalled the latest one. It helped me :)

I experienced the same problem, but the crash is just due to a faulty version check in the Zarafa Client patcher (I used zarafaclient-7.2.4-52167.msi ). Further details and a patcher can be found in my blog: http://hardwarefetish.com/847-fixing-a-bug-in-zarafa-client-7-2-4-that-crashed-it-on-outlook-2013
In short, you just need to patch 75h to 72h on offset 2CBFh in VERSION.DLL in your Outlook Installation-Directory.
Hope that helps users experiencing the same problem.
