      I have successfully set up z-push on my debian buster server with imap. It works.

      I’m now trying to figure out if it might be possible to sync my iPhone with roundcube webmail running on the server.

      I tried this solution: https://github.com/kitserve/z-push-roundcube

      But it appears to not work: https://github.com/kitserve/z-push-roundcube/issues/4

      The alternate solution offered there is a z-push fork and looks stale.

      So I’m wondering what my options might be, if any, for getting my current z-push install acting as a bridge between my iPhone and roundcube.

      Thanks.

        Hi @sdondley,

        the fork mentioned there is https://github.com/fmbiete/Z-Push-contrib, which has since then been mostly integrated back upstream. So in theory you would only need to switch your Roundcube over to use carddav.

          @fbartels

          Thanks for your help. I managed to get this roundcube plugin installed: https://github.com/mstilkerich/rcmcarddav

          I’m still confused, however. On my phone, I have contact syncing turned on so presumably the contacts on the phone exist somewhere on the server. But when I look in /var/lib/z-push, I only see data used for imap syncing.

          I think before I figoure out roundcube, I need to figure out how to get the existing address book syncing with the server.

            That is not really how it works with ActiveSync (or any other contact syncing protocol I am aware of). When syncing an addressbook between your phone as server only the items of this specific addressbook get synced. The way I read your message is that it was your expectation that already existing contacts magically move into the addressbook that is synced to the server.
