Applying custom config to new instalation

 I just made a new install and /etc/kopano/has no .cfg files. I see that there are sample config files in/usr/share/doc/kopano/example-config. How do I apply custom configuration? Do I just copy sample files to/etc/kopano/, edit them there and reboot?

 Hi @ilmix, this is explained in the documentation: https://documentation.kopano.io/kopanocore_administrator_manual/configure_kc_components.html#configure-the-kopano-server

 @fbartels
 Yes, but the documentation seems a bit outdated. It says “If a component requires custom configuration, these can be done in a system-wide configuration file located below /etc/kopano/. The default name for such a configuration file takes the name of the component and adds .cfg.”
 There is noserver.cfgin/etc/kopano/by default.

 @ilmix while the documentation does not specifically say this, there are currently no configuration files installed by default. I heard this is planned to change for Kopano 9.x.
