      Hello, folks,

has anyone an idea how to make dagent in Kopano either remove such attachments and place a notice inside the mail or - even better - refuse to take over such a mail with some error code?

Kopano 8.7.12 with fetchmail and postfix; dagent called by fetchmail with mda…

        Hi @gssd,

this is usually something you already do in your MTA before the mail reaches kopano(-dagent). A quick websearch brought up https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000016697 (although just focusing on the file extension and not checking the file itself seems like a flawed approach to me)

        Regards Felix

Thank you, Felix, for your hint, although we’re rather using fetchmail for fetching the mails from providers.
In this case it’the customer’s prescription to remove all those attachments and to return the mails to the sender with some remark.

Actually we’ve found some plugins for dagent to do something like this. It’s pretty near to the evaluation of rules.
