kopano-meet infinite loop since last update

Hi,

we just updated to

2020-07-02 17:25:14 status installed kopano-konnectd:amd64 0.33.5-0+9.1
2020-07-02 17:25:14 status installed kopano-common:amd64 8.7.14.0-0+38.1
2020-07-02 17:25:14 status installed kopano-kwebd:amd64 0.9.2-0+5.1

and now meet is broken. It loads all the time in a loop. Log just reports:

Rolling back with …

apt install kopano-konnectd=0.30.0-0+6.1

brings back meet.

Setting package on hold, just to make sure nobody updates it again…

There indeed was a bug fix in konnect which has effect on Meet since it relied on the broken behavior. Though there also should be a new meet bug fix release in the same repository. So Meet release 2.2.2 or better the release from today 2.2.3 which fixed a similar issue when using Meet with updated konnect when Meet is running in standalone mode.

I just checked the exact versions.

Konnect 0.33.4 and 0.33.5 contain fixes which require update of Meet to 2.2.3 since older Meet versions unintentionally relied on the broken behavior of older Konnect versions (related to how it callback URLs were generated).

Please report back if you see this problem with Konnect 0.33.5 (or later) and Meet 2.2.3 (or later).

I have the problem with:

No newer packages are available for Ubuntu 18 from your paid repos.

download.kopano.io/supported/meet:/final/Ubuntu_18.04/ ./

Not even master branch contains the 2.2.3 (or later).

thank you. Did you test the package? I have a bad feeling, when a package hit stable/final within a few hours after reporting an issue :)

We just don’t want to be your 1st-level testing.

@plzk-de yes, of course I have verified the version.

The 2.2.x release has also been available in meet:master for a while. So its not like this update comes out of the blue.
