Autodiscover for IMAP clients

Hi,
I configured autodiscover on Z-Push and it’s working for mobile devices using ActiveSync, but not for devices using IMAP and SMTP protocols, like Outlook on Mac or Thunderbird.

On the Microsoft website I see that the Autodiscover.xml file also supports configuration discovery for IMAP protocol: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/office/office-2010/cc511507(v=office.14)?redirectedfrom=MSDN#isp-with-pop3-imap-and-smtp-services-with-pop3-preference-for-clients.

Could you help me to understand how it works and how to configure it, please?

Hi @decibel83,

Z-Push only supports sync schema for mobile devices (“http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/mobilesync/responseschema/2006”).

For IMAP and SMTP connections you’re better off connecting those clients directly to the respective server anyway instead of going via Z-Push.
