kopano-search no log to file.

Hai,

Today i upgraded to 9.0.1, that went fine, no errors at all, i only noticed that kopano-search is not logging to file.

i did see this in /var/log/syslog

Dec  3 10:54:18 mail1 systemd[1]: Stopping Kopano Groupware Core Search Daemon...
Dec  3 10:54:19 mail1 kopano-search[27367]: Terminating on signal 15
Dec  3 10:54:19 mail1 systemd[1]: kopano-search.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Dec  3 10:54:19 mail1 systemd[1]: kopano-search.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
Dec  3 10:54:19 mail1 systemd[1]: Stopped Kopano Groupware Core Search Daemon.
Dec  3 10:54:22 mail1 systemd[1]: Started Kopano Groupware Core Search Daemon.

I do see it starts fine without errors, but stopping it shows above message.

the log settings are :

It does log to a file, you will notice a file gets created if it does not exist.

Hai @jengelh , well, normaly yes… but now … no. .

-rw-r–r-- 1 kopano kopano 0 Nov 22 10:56 search.log

22 Nov was the last time i myself cleared the log.

but thats the strang thing, all work, execpt search.
i normaly see things like :

i just increase the log level to 6 for search,… still 0kb …

i saw these in syslog

search works fine as far i can tell.

exact version is : 9.0.1.4.389db7f95-0+197.1 amd64
