kopano-gateway 8.4 / Apple Mail

Hi forum,

we have a issue with the kopano-gateway version 8,4,0,596.

We have migrated from a cyrus server to Kopano. As mail client, we use amongst others Apple Mail version 10.3 (3273). Our issue is: the contents of some e-mails are not displayed in Apple Mail.

To limit the problem, we tried the following:

we checked the relevant e-mail in web app -> she is displayed correctly
we checked the relevant e-mail in Thunderbird (version 52.1.1) -> she is displayed correctly
we checked the relevant e-mail in Apple Mail via the old Cyrus server -> she is displayed correctly

What can we do to determine the cause?

Hi @riomeister ,

is ther something in the gateway.log when the client tries to download the message? can you provide an eml of such an email? The best way to generate such a message is by setting log_raw_message = yes in dagent.cfg and waiting for such an email to be delivered.

yesterday we had problems with the version 8,4,0,596. The content of e-mails was no longer displayed in the web app. We went back to version 8,4,0,522. The problems with the Apple Mail were and are already present here.

Yes, I can provide an eml of such an e-mail.
In the log file of the gateway (Loglevel 5) appears no entry when accessing this e-mail. The affected e-mails were copied to Kopano during the migration with imap-sync.

We add the entry in dagent.cfg and wait for an e-mail with this problem. Where can we send the eml?

sounds a bit like https://forum.kopano.io/topic/296/bugreport-kc-8-4-0-667_139-error-while-accessing-html-mail-items-in-webapp, I was not able to reproduce this with the latest master build though.
